This Weeks Contests

A new link was added last week to the Resources Section of the website https://www.georgiacontestgroup.com/    This link is to the WA7BNM online contest calendar.  It is a very good source for rules and happenings in the contesting world.

The big event this week is the NAQP RTTY. This is a team event and I know a group of GCG is going to operate, so if you want to join a team let me know and I can register  you.  We can take up to 5 Stations per team so we have 4 empty slots.   The NAQP RTTY is a short 12 hour contest so a fun way to get on the air with out a weekend long commitment.  If you are new to RTTY, Ham Radio Deluxe has a suite that is easy to use and I think you can try it free as well as FLDigi which I believe is free.  If you need help getting a set up working please feel free to contact me and I can help as time allows.
